Πώς να εγκαταστήσετε τον Firefox 7 στο Ubuntu

Η τελευταία έκδοση του Firefox 7 είναι πλέον διαθέσιμη στο κοινό.
Η βασικές αλλαγές που έχουν γίνει στην συγκεκριμένη έκδοση αφορούν την διαχείριση μνήμης και ταχύτερος συγχρονισμός του Firefox Sync.

Για να εγκαταστήσετε τον Firefox 7 στην έκδοση Ubuntu 11.04 δεν χρειάζεστε τίποτα παραπάνω απο το να κάνετε update το σύστημα σας.

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

Για να εγκαταστήσετε τον Firefox 7 σε προϊγούμενες εκδόσεις θα χρειαστεί να προσθέσετε το repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable
Μεταβείτε στην εφαρμογή Sofware Sources και προσθέστε (add)

ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable

Στην συνέχεια

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
